What the day will look like

Proposals and Presentations

  • Accompanying Bid Managers to internal tender strategy meetings to develop an understanding of a client/prospect's business
  • Gather input from the bid response team to create comprehensive reports in Word.
  • Ensure Aon's differentiators/key messages is reflected in the proposal/bid response
  • Develop clear and visually engaging diagrams, tables, and charts.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards when formatting Word and PowerPoint documents.
  • Contribute to a polished and professional proposal process with great attention to detail.

Project Coordination

  • Support Bid Managers in coordinating proposals and presentations seamlessly.
  • Assist with producing project plans and prioritizing activities
  • Be personally accountable for meeting all timescales and deadlines set by the Bid Manager with regards to the delivery of bid documentation including reports, presentations and other material
  • Contribute to the overall development of proposals and presentations by utilizing content available and previous similar responses

Content Management

  • Maintain and update the central bid management library, ensuring accuracy of corporate and personnel information.
  • Ensure consistency and currency of online content library, RFP Portal, and SharePoint site.
  • Efficiently update, replace, and edit content components following the uploading process, including thorough proofreading and content cleansing.
  • Collaborate with Bid Managers to capture new, refined, or amended content.
  • Monitor and maintain the filing structure and processes, identifying necessary changes for new products or geographies.
  • Provide prompt assistance to the region for ad hoc requests regarding information and images.
  • Conduct content library and portal training sessions to enhance user proficiency.

Administration

  • Support the Pursuit Leader with reporting (ensuring our systems are updated with open and complete projects)
  • Project Library Management and Filing - ensuring final reports are correctly saved and easily available.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as and when they arise (client capabilities planning, internal red team challenges etc.)

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 2-3 years of work experience with a proven track record of creating professional proposals.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details, timelines etc.
  • Team player
  • Experience with new business bids and / or development activities is an advantage
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services is an advantage
  • Excellent with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • University degree and/or ACII, IRM or equivalent insurance qualification, or commitment to study and gain the CII qualifications
