Responsibilities

  • Support of desktops and laptops computer hardware and software
  • Common user applications and OS support (e.g. Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook email client, MS Remote Desktop, client network connection issue, etc)
  • Installation and preparation of computers for users
  • Printers and scanners troubleshooting and reporting of issue to the vendor
  • Lab computers connection to lab testing equipment setup
  • User login accounts management (password reset, MFA setup, etc.)
  • On-site servers and network devices first level troubleshooting (e.g. rebooting of network switches/access points/routers, power failure troubleshooting, VPN/Internet access issue)
  • To collaborate with HQ IT team in IT related matters
  • To collaborate with main IT support provider on IT issues
  • Manage IT helpdesk system
  • First level support of company phone system (PBX)

Requirements

  • At least Higher Nitec in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Experience in supporting of user computer hardware, applications and network connection issues
  • Able to communicate in effective written and spoken English
  • Possess initiative and ability to work independently
