Singapore Axiom Education Centre Pte. Ltd. Full time

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic tuition teacher proficient in A Level / IB Chemistry, Mathematics or Economics to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of these subjects and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of various ages and skill levels. The tuition teacher will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with the latest syllabus requirements and crafting teaching materials accordingly to ensure students receive the highest quality education.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in either A Level / IB Chemistry, Mathematics or Economics tailored to individual student needs.
  2. Develop comprehensive teaching materials, including worksheets, practice exercises, and visual aids, to supplement classroom instruction.
  3. Keep abreast of the latest developments in the subjects' syllabus and incorporate relevant updates into lesson plans.
  4. Evaluate student performance through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  5. Establish a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
  6. Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians to address any concerns and track progress.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues and management to continuously improve teaching methods and curriculum.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  5. Creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and curriculum development.
  6. Commitment to staying current with advancements in education and the subjects being taught.
  7. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
