About the team The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. What You'll Do - Manage the day-to-day operations function over our global Transaction Monitoring program - Drive overall transaction monitoring controls within the group by leading of team of investigators and analysts handling TM responsibilities globally. - Manage overall assessment and validation of TM control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations as well as established PIPO AML Policies. - Ensure operational efficiencies when working on alert management, case capacity and transaction monitoring risk assessment initiatives (e.g. Scenario, Threshold tuning, data validation, etc) - Establish strong working partnerships with compliance and business units to ensure completion of compliance activities and timely escalation of risk issues to stakeholders - Oversee staffing and team efficiencies to ensure overall AML TM operations are operating optimally

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications - Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, proven through the development of highly efficient teams. - Work experience in suspicious transaction analysis and reporting, experience in new risk mining and risk research is preferred - Understand the suspicious transaction analysis system and process, and be able to follow up, feedback and improve the process - Experience in a previous financial institution and/or Fintech Preferred Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years of investigations and transaction monitoring experience - Down-to-earth, self-driven, strong sense of responsibility, willing to settle down to do risk exploration and risk research - Logical framework, able to think independently and solve problems and dismantle difficulties, good at communication, strong initiative and execution, especially paying attention to teamwork - Result-oriented, strong ability to resist pressure ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
