Mission of the Position

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating dynamic and engaging motion graphics content across various media platforms, including commercials, television, the internet, and film. The Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for producing visually captivating animations, infographics, character animations, and visual effects that effectively communicate ideas and messages to target audiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Conceptualize and develop motion graphics concepts, storyboards, and animatics that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Create visually appealing animations, infographics, character animations, and visual effects using industry-standard software such as Rive, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Animate.
  • Integrate motion graphics elements seamlessly with live-action footage, and other visual assets to create cohesive and compelling content.
  • Ensure that motion graphics content is optimized for various platforms and formats, including broadcast, digital, and social media.
  • Collaborate with other members of the creative team, including designers, animators, and editors, to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations.

 

Key Criteria/Requirements

  •  
  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work, including animations, infographics, character animations, and visual effects.
  • In addition, a deep understanding of the Rive platform and its features, with a portfolio showcasing interactive animations and motion graphics created using Rive, along with strong animation skills and experience with keyframe animation, character rigging, and motion principles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard motion graphics and animation software, such as Rive, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and others.
  • Proficiency in 3D animation software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D is considered a significant advantage
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition, and familiar with interactive design principles, motion design patterns, and usability for digital interfaces.
  • Strong animation skills and good attention to detail, with the ability to create smooth and fluid motion graphics animations.
  • Excellent visual storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging visuals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, or related field preferred.
