Roles & Responsibilities

Monday - Friday, Alternate Saturday - 9am - 6pm

Working Location (rotate accordingly): Rotating among 3 nearby location

Roles & Responsibilities:

(Mechanical)

  • Install and commission air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, including chilled water piping, FCUs, CRAH units, and control/power cabling.
  • Conduct regular inspections (daily, weekly, monthly) and perform generator no-load tests.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance for data centre cooling systems (e.g., cooling towers, pumps, CRAH, FCUs, condenser units, MV fans), including cleaning, greasing, alignment, and vibration checks.
  • Respond to BMS alarms and support on-duty technicians in resolving issues.
  • Maintain and update asset records, MOPs, SOPs, inspection logs, capacity reports, and maintenance schedules.

    (Electrical)
  • Install low voltage electrical systems (e.g., Tap Off units, IPDUs, lighting, power outlets, cable termination), including testing and commissioning.
  • Conduct annual inspections for earthing and lightning protection systems, and perform thermal scanning of switchboards under LEW supervision.
  • Assist in annual power shutdowns and integrated system testing (IST) for the data centre.
  • Perform routine inspections and generator no-load testing.
  • Maintain data centre cooling systems (e.g., cooling towers, pumps, CRAH, FCUs, fans), including cleaning, greasing, alignment, and vibration checks.
  • Respond to BMS alarms and assist operations technicians in troubleshooting.
  • Update asset records, SOPs/MOPs, inspection logs, and prepare maintenance and facility reports.
  • Supervise vendors during maintenance and ensure quality of work.
  • Lead and train a team of at least 4 junior technicians in all tasks listed above.
