Roles & Responsibilities

Role: Cloud Engineer

Duration: 12 months ( extendable)

Location: Central

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team, working directly with our valued client, In this L2/L3 role, you will be responsible for the advanced management, maintenance, and optimization of the client's AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance.

  • Infrastructure Management: Perform advanced administration and maintenance of a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
  • Incident & Problem Resolution: Act as a lead for L2/L3 technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents related to the AWS environment. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
  • Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployment and management tasks.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust cloud security best practices. Manage IAM policies, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs) to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Configure and manage monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues. Work to optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.
  • Implement, Manage and Support AWS VPC, EC2, Cloudwatch, RDS, Security and Glass panel remediation, and Azure Cloud
  • Integrate AWS VPC and AWS Cloud to external systems
  • Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2/2016/2019 Standard/Enterprise administration, backup with restore and upgrade
  • Windows Domain administration and setup
  • Windows Server patch and security management
  • Proficient in all latest windows operation system, server, network configuration & setup
  • Other Third-Party Software Administration (e.g Third Sight, etc.)
  • Coordination for any server activities (e.g hardware replacement)
  • Application setup & configuration
  • Application deployments (bulk of the work)
  • Monthly & Ad-hoc security patching (Windows, ESXi, Linux)
