Senior Data Scientist (Cybersecurity)

Contract Duration: 2025 – 2027

Location: Pasir Panjang

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a cybersecurity team, focusing on detecting and preventing unauthorised privileged access. Role involves applying advanced ML techniques, building detection models, and delivering production-ready solutions in collaboration with cybersecurity and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy ML models for anomaly detection and behavioural analytics.

Monitor and improve detection accuracy, reducing false positives.

Work with engineers to operationalize detection models at scale.

Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead project planning and mentor team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics.

5+ years in Data Science/ML, ideally in cybersecurity or fraud detection.

Strong in anomaly detection, behavioural analytics, classification models.

Proficient in Python, R, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Experience with large-scale datasets, data pipelines, and cloud environments.

Familiarity with privileged access management and threat detection.
