Throughout the years, we have established a comprehensive network of social services to meet a wide range of needs in our community. Our diverse programmes reach out to children who need care and protection, families in material need, ailing aged requiring quality nursing care and other needy segments in our society.

Our spiritual ministry also reaches out to the people in the community to provide counsel to those in need. We are there to help guide those in need towards finding their identity and purpose in life.


RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Volunteers Management

  • Assist the Community Relations Manager in overseeing volunteer activities
  • Recruit, screen, process applications, and assess suitability of new volunteers
  • Arrange and conduct volunteer training and orientation sessions
  • Coordinate volunteering schedules and events with relevant departments
  • Maintain updated volunteer records and manage appreciation initiatives

2. Feedback Gathering

  • Conduct surveys to gather feedback from resident and stakeholder engagements
  • Document feedback for improvements and awards submissions
  • Manage post-event survey evaluations

3. Corporate Communication

  • Assist in providing reports, write-ups, and photographs for organizational newsletters and events
  • Support event documentation and maintain an organized archive of photos

4. Community Engagement

  • Orientate visitors and conduct tours of facilities
  • Represent the organization at external meetings and functions
  • Coordinate major events and collaborate with external agencies on joint initiatives
  • Participate in developmental activities and maintain knowledge in relevant fields

5. Awards Submissions

  • Prepare and submit nominations for various awards
  • Support presentation of shortlisted entries, including for Ageing Asia, Community Care Excellence Award (CCEA), and others

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in fields such as Healthcare Management, Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field in preferred

Job Requirements

  • Preferably with 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, warm and helpful team player who is well-organised
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel


OTHER INFORMATION

Working Hours

44 hours per week (normal office hours)

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

  • 8.00am to 5.15pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break) or
  • 8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break)
