Therapist responsible for providing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments along side with TCM Physician to clients, including herbal medicine, acupressure, cupping, and gua sha, by conducting thorough health assessments, developing personalized treatment plans based on TCM principles, and educating patients on self-care practices to promote overall wellness, all while adhering to Singapore healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

  • Patient Assessment:Conduct comprehensive TCM consultations by taking detailed patient histories, examining pulses, analyzing tongue coating, and observing physical symptoms to diagnose imbalances according to TCM theory.
  • Treatment Planning:Develop personalized treatment plans based on TCM diagnosis, including appropriate acupuncture point selection, herbal prescriptions, and other therapeutic modalities like cupping, gua sha, and acupressure.
  • Treatment Delivery:Perform acupuncture treatments with proper needle insertion techniques.
    Administer herbal medicine prescriptions according to TCM guidelines.
    Provide manual therapies like acupressure, cupping, and gua sha as needed.
  • Patient Education:Educate patients about their TCM diagnosis, treatment plan, and lifestyle modifications to support their health and wellbeing.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical information.
  • Clinic Operations:Adhere to clinic protocols and hygiene standards.Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners within the clinic as needed.
  • Perform Electro-Lymphatic Therapy (ELT) to help patients enhance their overall health and wellness.
  • Work with physicians to develop suitable treatment plans and dispense medication as prescribed for every patient.
  • Connect with patients, follow-up, monitor and continuously access patients' treatments throughout their recovery process to help them achieve the desired results.
  • Educate patients about the clinic's products and services effectively.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service and build sustainable relationships with patients.
  • Perform the packaging and labeling activities of medications.
  • Sanitize, maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the treatment rooms and clinic equipment.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Clinic Managers from time to time.
