We are looking for a Landscaping Assistant Manager to join our team
Job Summary:
The incumbent will assist in the planning, design, and maintenance of landscapes of the hotel, apartments, residences and public spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape design principles, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Landscape Maintenance:
- Assist in the daily maintenance of landscapes, including pruning, planting, and irrigation system management.
- Ensure all landscapes are well-manicured and meet quality standards.
2. Project Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of landscape projects, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
3. Horticulture Expertise:
- Provide horticultural expertise and recommendations on plant selection, soil management, and pest control.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in landscape management.
4. Team Management:
- Supervise and train landscape maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
5. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and other documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in landscape management or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape design principles.
- Project management and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as ISA Certified Arborist, Certified practicing horticulturist or Certified Park Manager, are an advantage.
