Roles & Responsibilities
  • Position : Accounts Executive – Up to $4,500 – Near Bugis MRT
  • Location : Beach Road - Near Bugis MRT
  • Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 5.45PM
  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave
  • Duration : Perm
  • Industry : Tyres

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounts payable reconciliation between supplier statements, AP aging, AP accruals and open purchase orders
  • Validate and process vendor invoices on a timely basis
  • Prepare accounts payable entries and recurring GL entries to ensure that they are coded to the proper cost center or GL accounts
  • Prepare and perform various journal entries to maintain the account books if necessary
  • Assist with month end / reporting processes, such as balance sheet reconciliations
  • Billing and invoicing from ERP
  • Perform revenue reconciliation and reconciling cash receipts
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • General ledger and journals
  • Prepayment and accrual journals
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
  • Inventory monthly closing
  • Receiving and ASN shipments update in ERP
  • Assist in internal and external audit requests and requirements.
  • Support on new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a full ACCA qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, no experience welcome too
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
