1-Year Contract – Highly Renewable & Convertible

Our client, a well-established foreign bank, is seeking a motivated Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to support their Financial Institutions (FI) team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong interest in KYC, client onboarding, and FI client coverage to gain valuable experience in a reputable banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of FI clients—including banks, NBFIs, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds across Singapore and the region.
  • Assist with client onboarding, including KYC/AML due diligence, periodic reviews, and documentation checks in line with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare credit applications and support the credit review process.
  • Coordinate documentation and execution of facilities, treasury, and other banking products.
  • Liaise with internal teams (credit, compliance, legal, and operations) to ensure seamless client support and transaction execution.
  • Monitor client activity and market trends to identify potential risks and business opportunities.
  • Prepare pitch materials, proposals, and presentations to support relationship development and cross-selling.
  • Manage internal records, maintain client data, and ensure timely follow-ups on client needs and requests.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally in FI coverage, relationship support, or credit/KYC roles.
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and documentation for financial institutions is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive team player who can work independently and collaborate across departments.
