BPO Management Accountant/ACR Accountant , West area

Job description:

  • Perform month-end account reviews, including control account checks and posting corrective journal entries.
  • Monitor the close process and review the BPO Journal Entry Dashboard for task completion for assigned entities.
  • Review the Overdue Items Report, follow up with BPO, and escalate overdue items as necessary.
  • Conduct pre- and post-close meetings with each tower lead to review monthly and quarterly finance activities.
  • Approve journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Run Blackline reports to review account aging and values. Investigate issues and collaborate with the BPO owner to resolve them, creating an action plan for R-items over 60 days or exceeding $100K.
  • Generate GL reports, perform trend analysis, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Prepare the Tower Close Package, including variance analysis with commentary, a risk and issues log, and Balance Sheet Aging (R-Items).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, internal audit, or public accounting across various industries.
  • Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and theory is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
