Retail Sales Associate – SimplyActive & Purpose Performance Wear

Location: Central Business District (CBD), Singapore

Working Days: Flexible (The store is open 11-7 Mon-Sat)

Working Hours: Flexible 42hrs a week

Salary: $2,500/month (negotiable based on experience) + Company Bonus

About the Role

We're looking for an energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to represent SimplyActive and Purpose Performance Wear at our flagship retail store in Singapore's CBD. You'll be the face of two premium active and performance brands—guiding athletes, runners, cyclists, triathletes and fitness enthusiasts to gear up and fuel their passion.

This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about sports, understands the value of quality performance apparel, and thrives in a retail environment where personalized service and storytelling matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, delivering an outstanding in-store experience

·
• Understand and communicate product features, technologies, and benefits (Purpose's Hypermesh and focus on heat and humidity as well as the hydration, nutrition and recovery.

• Handle sales transactions and maintain accurate POS records

·
• Meet weekly and monthly sales targets

·
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness

·
• Support stock management, including receiving and tagging inventory

·
• Provide feedback to the team on customer needs and product trends

·
• Assist with in-store activations, events, and athlete visits when required

Requirements

·
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales (sports/activewear preferred)

·
• Passion for sports, fitness, or the endurance community

·
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·
• Positive attitude, reliable, and self-motivated

·
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling cash/card transactions

·
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team

·
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
