Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring on behalf of our banking client for a Business Processing OfficerWe are hiring on behalf of our banking client for a Business Processing Officer (Loan Team). This 12-month contract role comes with the potential for renewal and conversion to a permanent position.

If you have a background in loan operations, credit processing, and financial settlements, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities


• Process loan disbursements, rollovers, rate fixing, funding advice, and repayments for corporate banking customers.


• Implement and maintain credit limits in internal systems.


• Prepare overdue collection reports, portfolio updates, and management reports.


• Support settlements for Private Banking Hub, including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Deposits, and Investment Products (Funds & Bonds).


• Handle cheque clearing, verify signatures, liaise with customers regarding rejected cheques, and manage transaction confirmations.


• Respond to customer and bank enquiries regarding cheque clearing.


• Manage data reporting for Head Office and local regulatory requirements.


• Process audit requests and assist with internal optimizations.


• Work closely with business departments to enhance operational efficiency.


• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the department manager.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in loan processing, banking operations, or financial settlements.


• Knowledge of accounting is an advantage.


• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure.


• Strong compliance mindset and adherence to banking regulations.
