Job Summary

We are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Microsoft Purview Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and management of data governance and compliance solutions across a hybrid cloud environment. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in Microsoft 365 and Azure security, who can work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sensitive data is properly classified, protected, and compliant with internal and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business, security, and compliance needs, and design a scalable Microsoft Purview solution.
  2. Develop and implement policies for data classification, retention, and protection using Microsoft Purview.
  3. Monitor and manage data access, usage, and compliance using Purview's governance tools.
  4. Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other Microsoft 365 security tools to ensure comprehensive data protection.
  5. Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational policies.
  6. Support the integration of Purview and Defender with other Microsoft 365 and Azure services to build a unified security and compliance framework.
  7. Provide technical leadership and support during deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.

Key Qualifications

  1. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, especially in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data governance.
  2. Practical experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and its integration with Purview and Microsoft 365.
  3. Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 compliance and security tools, including sensitivity labels, data classification, and audit logs.
  4. Experience working in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
  5. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  6. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data protection issues.
