Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the organization and maintenance of inventory and storage areas to ensure efficient and accurate stock management.
  • Prepare and manage daily yard schedules, ensuring all tasks are aligned with operational requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, monitoring and resolving discrepancies where necessary.
  • Maintain and update detailed records of inventory movements, using reports to monitor and forecast warehouse status.
  • Manage stock in and out processes, ensuring daily updates are accurate and systems are up to date.
  • Identify and implement improvements in warehouse procedures and practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Proactively suggest productivity improvements and contribute to the development and enforcement of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure all facility equipment is maintained and operational to support smooth warehouse operations.
  • Manage forklift keys and ensure safe usage by workers, adhering to safety standards.
  • Handle payment collection and invoicing from clients, ensuring accurate financial processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse and operations-related inquiries via phone and email, providing timely responses.
  • Assist with warehouse billing and any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in warehouse management software, MS Office, and Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Graduate or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations, coordinate tasks, and lead initiatives in a warehouse setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
