Basketball Coach / Coordinator – Singapore Based

Part-Time Contract Roles Available

Ideal Availability Required: Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm – 9:00pm, Saturday or Sunday 11:00am - 9:00pm

Are you a head coach passionate about basketball and enjoy working with kids? We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced Junior Basketball Coaches to join our growing team in Singapore. We offer flexible opportunities suited to your availability and goals.

Just looking to start your basketball coaching career? We offer volunteer assistant coaching pathways which lead to head coaching roles for reliable, passion persons who have less than 1 year of basketball coaching experience.

About the Role

As a Basketball Coach, you will lead engaging, private and community sessions for young athletes. Your role is to inspire a love for the game, help players improve, and create a fun, safe, supportive learning environment. With league training and support you will also be responsible for setting up sessions, assisting to share programs to players and manage your group of teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the provided structured basketball programs for kids of various ages and skill levels
  • Teach fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Foster a fun, inclusive, and safe environment
  • Provide motivation, feedback, and guidance tailored to each athlete
  • Ensure player safety and manage group behaviour appropriately
  • Communicate with parents and guardians as needed

Requirements

  • A passion for basketball and working with youth
  • Experience coaching or supervising kids (formal coaching certifications are a bonus)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Responsible, punctual, and enthusiastic
