Job Description
  • Ensure service reliability, availability, and stability across middleware platforms.
  • Provide expert support by resolving incidents, problems, service requests, and managing changes.
  • Collaborate with development, project, and business teams on requirements and deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and performance optimization.
  • Analyze production platforms to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Foster teamwork and strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Engage in DevOps practices: CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Monitoring, and Compliance.
  • Operate and enhance middleware platforms and interfaces.
  • Develop self-service interfaces and automate workflows.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Middleware Engineer should have:

  • Expertise in WAS - Web and Application Servers mainly focusing on Migration Projects.
  • Atleast 5 years relevant experienceMiddleware Technologies: Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka

    Container Platforms: Docker/Kubernetes (Good to have)

    Operating Systems: Linux, Unix and/or Windows

    Monitoring and Data analytics tools: Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos

    Scripting tools: Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell

  • Good understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident, Problem, and Change processes
  • Experience in one or more of the following technical platforms:Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GIT

    Cloud Services (AWS, GCP)

  • Able to work on shift and with on-call support on rotation
