Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Routine / Daily on Sales Floor

  • To assist in achieving daily and monthly sales budget.
  • To assist in carrying out the weekly sales action plan at their assigned areas or department
  • To provide product information and service to customers proactively
  • To greet and assist customers on the sales floor attentively.
  • To assist in receiving, counting of stocks, tagging, and labeling
  • To monitor and check GOODS with expiry date (Health & Beauty / Food)
  • To do daily/weekly housekeeping
  • To assist in tagging sensor tag, especially for garment
  • To actively feedback on fast- and slow-moving stock
  • To maintain the work area by adhering to the safety standards as required
  • To perform daily stock replenishment

Store Administration / Cost Control

  • To healthily practice on recycling and reducing wastage(Packing materials, store supplies, copier printing papers)
  • Tobe tactful in handling fragile items to prevent unnecessary breakage that will lead to inevitable write off.

Cashier Handling

  • To assist the cashier at the Checkout point when required
  • To be responsible in the reporting of price error
  • To be equipped with the knowledge of the extended services and fees involved(Home delivery & Alteration)

Customer Service

  • To demonstrate appropriate customer service skills as according to the Muji Gram
  • To provide effective and efficient service to assist the customers in all aspects.
  • To gather feedback from customer and suggest improvement for the areas to the superior

Visual Merchandising

  • Apply various trends in visual merchandising.
  • Confirm specifications on signage and graphics.
  • Prepare props and fixtures for visual merchandising display.
  • Assemble files for printing.
  • Develop/construct in -store visual merchandising display.
  • Apply graphics and signage in visual merchandising display.

Received / Delivery Inventory Control Ordering

  • To ensure stock sold by first in first out to avoid an increase of aging merchandises.
  • To report on any discrepancy of stock holding against the system
  • To ensure all available stock is being displayed.

Others

  • Any other Ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in vm or its equivalent
  • Preferably with at least 1 years relevant experience
  • Possess Customer Oriented Mindset
  • Attentive and Creative
  • Energetic and enthusiastic individual whom is open to new challenges
