RRIS is seeking to hire a responsible andtalented Research Associate/ Research Scientist for therehabilitation research. The candidate for this position will workon data analysis of human movements to support different projectsin the institute. He is also involved in designing and developing auser interface that interacts with a markerless motion capturesystem API/library.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Conductand support research in the rehabilitation field, particularly inhuman movement
  • Design and develop a userinterface that interacts with a markerless motion capturesystem.
  • Process and analyze movement data withsuitable tools and methodologies.
  • Interact withclinical partners to understand research requirements and discussanalysis results.
  • Support the research team topublish researchfindings.


JobRequirements:
  • A Master's orPhD in biomechanics, data science, computer science, engineering orrelated fields
  • Knowledge of statistics andmachine learning models
  • Proficiency in codingusing Python
  • Knowledge of biomechanics andcomputer vision is a plus
  • Experience in thefollowing skills is a plus: (1) biomechanics software (e.g.,Visual3D), (2) backend development (e.g., Flask, Quart), (3)front-end development (e.g., HTML, JavaScript), (4) cloudplatforms.
  • Good communication andreport-writing skills
  • Possess dedication andhighly committed to research andwork
