Job responsibilities:

Assistant Service Supervisor:

  • Handle daily food preparation, production, and presentation to meet quality standards.
  • Monitor raw and cooked food quality; estimate daily production needs.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff; encourage adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Minimize food wastage and follow proper storage, temperature, and preservation standards.
  • Assist with monthly inventory checks, stock tracking, and replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs for food handling, preparation, sanitation, and audits.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support investigations.
  • Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements across workstations.
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu items, recipes, and production methods.
  • Perform additional duties as required by operational or business needs.

Service Crew:

  • Prepare and cook food items following standard procedures.
  • Set up kitchen stations and work independently during preparation hours.
  • Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation meet company standards for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.
  • Take customer orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
  • Serve food, handle payments, and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Operate delivery platform devices (e.g. GrabFood, FoodPanda) and assist with monthly stock take.
  • Perform general duties such as cashiering, dishwashing, housekeeping, and basic food prep (e.g. cutting vegetables, breading meat)

Job Requirements:

  • Willing to work different hours, shifts, and occasional overtime.
  • Friendly, positive, and focused on providing good service.
  • Experience in F&B (Japanese or Western food) is a plus.
  • Must have a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
