PurpleForest Events invites highly driven and dynamic individuals to join our 12-month Events Manager Traineeship programme, designed to provide hands-on experience in planning and executing professional conferences, award ceremonies, special launch events and international meetings for the government sector.

ABOUT THE TRAINEESHIP PROGRAMME

• Established in 2022, our 2025 intake marks the 4th batch of this exclusive programme.
• Open exclusively to fresh graduates, this traineeship has a proven track record, with successful trainees offered full-time contracts.
• Trainees work under the guidance of experienced managers to prepare and execute events, gaining valuable skills in liaising with 3rd party partners, corresponding with clients, and executing tasks critical for event day execution.
• Successful trainees evolve into competent and highly sought-after event professionals capable of handling significant government sector projects.

HOW DO TRAINEES ASSIST THE COMPANY

As an Events Management Trainee, you play a crucial role in delivering seamless execution of events to meet and exceed client expectations.

• Event Execution Excellence:
  
  Work with experienced managers to execute flawless events by liaising with 3rd party partners, ensuring services are secured according to requirements and managing pre-event client correspondence.
• Administrative Expertise:
  
  Develop organisational skills by preparing administrative documents for event day use, including but not limited to registration collation, printing guest name badges, creating holding slides, drafting emcee scripts, and minute-by-minute administrative programmes and more.
• Client Engagement:
  
  Interact directly with government sector clients and international VIPs, ensuring client expectations are not only met but exceeded through meticulous planning and execution.
• Skill Development:
  
  Gain hands-on experience that allows you to evolve from a supporting role to a competent event professional, capable of quoting, managing, and executing professional events for the government sector.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates will have:

• Singapore citizenship currently residing in Singapore.
• Fresh graduates with expected graduation date in 2025, preferably in communications, marketing, project management, or hospitality.
• Strong command of the English language for effective and professional communication with government sector clients and international VIPs.
• Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with productivity tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, etc. to facilitate working in-person at the office, remotely from event venue or at home.
• Highly disciplined and self-motivated to work independently and remotely when required.
