Role Overview:
You will develop and implement strategic initiatives to advance data exploitation within MINDEF.Key Responsibilities:
- Guide various business domains (e.g., HR, NS, Corporate & Finance) in developing domain-level data strategies. - Promote the integration of data into business processes. - Provide support and remove obstacles for domains to enhance data usage. - Collaborate with Data Scientists and specialists (e.g., design thinkers) to offer consultancy to domains. - Monitor and report on the success of data strategies to senior management and Whole-of-Government (WoG). - Address challenges such as understanding diverse business needs, stakeholder engagement, emphasizing data quality and sharing, and aligning data science opportunities with business requirements.Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related fields. - Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. - Experience in policy/plans, stakeholder engagement, and business analytics is advantageous. - Ability to multi-task and a self-starter mentality. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Information:
