Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sweet Flavorist to join our innovative R&D center in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing sweet flavor formulations to support our food and beverage product lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and quality management, to ensure innovation and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Sweet Flavor Development: Design and create new sweet flavor formulations based on market trends and consumer preferences, ensuring flavor harmony, stability, and applicability.
- Formula Optimization: Analyze and improve existing sweet flavor formulations to enhance flavor performance and cost efficiency while complying with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Market Research: Participate in market research to identify new trends and innovation opportunities in sweet flavors to drive new product development.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition from concept to market launch.
- Laboratory Management: Maintain laboratory equipment and environment, ensuring safety and operational efficiency while adhering to all procedures and safety protocols.
- Consumer Testing: Engage in consumer testing and evaluation, making necessary adjustments based on feedback to meet market demands.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sweet flavor industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of sweet flavor ingredients, flavor chemistry, and food industry standards.
- Expertise in sugars, sweeteners, and their interactions in different applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, with data analysis skills being a plus.
