Roles & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity to work with a leading organisation as their Business Intelligence Analyst with hands-on experience in Power BI implementation to join the team.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst with hands-on experience in Power BI implementation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, designing and developing Power BI dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, development of centralized and ad hoc reporting solutions, and active involvement in user training and adoption.

1. Business Requirements Gathering & Project Management

  • Partner with business units to identify and document reporting needs, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Manage timelines and priorities for BI-related initiatives.

2. Power BI Development & Implementation

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Build robust data models, perform data transformations, and ensure data quality.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized Power BI reporting framework.

3. Testing & Deployment

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate reporting solutions.
  • Ensure smooth deployment and integration of dashboards into business workflows.
  • Monitor report performance and address issues as needed.

4. Training & User Enablement

  • Deliver training sessions and create user guides to promote self-service BI.
  • Support end-users in interpreting reports and using Power BI tools effectively.
  • Drive adoption of BI solutions across the organization.

5. Ongoing Maintenance & Optimization

  • Update existing reports and dashboards based on evolving business needs.
  • Optimize performance of Power BI reports and ensure high availability.
  • Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices.

Qualificiations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
  • Strong experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting end-to-end BI solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with Azure services (Data Lake, Synapse, etc.).
  • Experience working with large datasets from multiple data sources.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
