Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Officer to join the Operations unit of Nostro Reconciliation Hub for a leading bank. This role will focus on performing Nostro account reconciliations, investigating reconciliation breaks, and supporting new business initiatives and process improvements. You will work closely with Business Units across the region to ensure accurate reconciliations, timely resolution of breaks, and effective risk management.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree holder, preferably in Accounting, other disciplines are welcome to apply;
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in banking operations;
- Must have experience in cash operations, remittance, treasury & markets, or break investigation;
- Strong written, spoken, and listening communication skills;
- Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in managing SmartStream TLM or other reconciliation systems;
- Ability to analyse information and recommend improvements in productivity and controls;
- Strong presentation skills, confident in engaging senior-level stakeholders;
- Demonstrated leadership and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform Nostro account reconciliations across regional bank entities and investigate breaks independently or with business units. Process matching instructions and ensure reconciliations are completed within timelines;
- Perform monthly GL account reconciliations and highlight aging breaks to relevant business units;
- Support ad-hoc queries from business units, ensuring timely resolution;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reconciliation automation and create auto-matching rules;
- Drive process improvements, standardize workflows, and identify operational risks;
- Participate in new business initiatives and projects, providing requirements, raising risks, and helping formulate action plans;
- Monitor project changes, highlight risks/issues, and ensure compliance with bank policies and controls.

- Hands-on experience in planning and executing large-scale events;
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical skills to measure and report campaign effectiveness.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in financial services, foundations, or CSR/social impact programmes;
- Copywriting and storytelling skills;
- Budget management and vendor coordination experience;
- Regional exposure to working across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing and advocacy campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and stakeholder engagement across multiple markets;
- Lead marketing strategy and execution for flagship programmes, forums, summits, and dialogues focused on social impact and community engagement;
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling multi-format content, including video, editorial, social media, and digital assets;
- Manage all aspects of event marketing, including pre-event promotion, onsite branding and audience engagement, as well as post-event publicity and reporting;
- Provide guidance, campaign frameworks, and marketing toolkits to regional and local teams to ensure brand alignment and consistency across markets;
- Drive cross-channel marketing strategies, ensuring integration across paid, owned, and digital platforms;
- Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of campaigns and events, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement;
- Ensure high standards of brand governance, creative quality, and messaging consistency in all marketing and communications deliverables;
- Manage budgets and external vendors to ensure cost-effective delivery of marketing and event activities;
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to enhance audience engagement and brand impact.
