Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Wintel System Engineer to manage and support Windows-based enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments while ensuring security, performance, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server Administration – Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Active Directory & Group Policy – Manage AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP and LDAP configurations.
  • Virtualization Management – Maintain and optimize VMware ESXi, vSphere, or Hyper-V environments.
  • Performance Optimization – Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Patch Management & Security – Implement security updates, system hardening and compliance standards.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery – Configure and manage backup and recovery solutions.
  • Automation & Scripting – Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.
  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure – Support Azure/AWS environments for hybrid cloud operations.
  • Monitoring & Incident Resolution – Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vSphere, or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with patching, security updates, and system hardening.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
  • Exposure to cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with IIS, SCCM, SCOM and enterprise monitoring tools.
