Manager - Strategic/Marketing Communications

About the Role:

2 year contract role - You will be part of a dynamic team that drives impactful public engagement through strategic communications, data-informed planning, and proactive media relations. In this role, you will help shape narratives, develop outreach strategies and strengthen connections with diverse stakeholders to raise awareness, inspire action and create meaningful change for communities in need

Duties:

  • Champion the mission by crafting powerful, inspiring narratives that spotlight social impact and the transformation of communities in need.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units, shaping strategic communications that cut through the noise and resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Harness data insights, social listening, and market intelligence to sharpen campaigns, elevate brand perception, and drive positive public mindshare.
  • Lead bold media engagement efforts, positioning the organisation as a go-to voice and thought leader in the social service sector.
  • Create visually engaging corporate publications and eDMs that showcase compelling stories, sector insights, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive excellence through seamless project leadership, managing agencies and budgets with precision while delivering standout campaigns that leave a lasting mark.

Pre-requisites:

  • Min 7 yrs experience in communications strategy, media relations, and stakeholder engagement
  • Possess strong strategic thinking, analytical, and conceptualisation abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in message framing, delivery, and impactful presentation
  • Proficient in data analytics, research, and insight-driven decision-making
