Roles & Responsibilities

Our Water is looking to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Singapore team. This is a role equivalent to a team-leading position. The remuneration range is fixed (inclusive of AWS), commensurate with skill, experience, and interview assessment result.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Project Manager(s), Contract Manager, and other leaders across the businesses.
  • Managing tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
  • Perform quantity take-off, prepare detailed cost estimates, and develop project budgets.
  • Interpret and communicate the Contract requirements to the Project Manager and the delivery team.
  • Managing procurement and liaising with sub-consultants and suppliers.
  • Provide support on the general administration of contracts, including drafting responses to the contractor's general correspondence and notices of claims.
  • Implement and oversee change control processes, early warnings, compensation events, scope changes, and payment procedures.
  • Assess and certify the various claims and variations.
  • Prepare cash flows and perform monthly cost reporting and tracking of ongoing jobs.
  • Working with the Project Manager in resolving commercial issues with the Client and Contractor, and implementing strategies to avoid litigation/claims.
  • Perform quantity take-off and support on cost estimates.

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a Singapore consultancy environment. Familiarity with PSSCOC would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
