What the role is:
As a member of the Strategic Planning and Policy team, you will play a key role in shaping Singapore's national plans to build the country as a global hub for intangible assets (IA) and intellectual property (IP). You will contribute directly to the development and implementation of IP-related policies and initiatives that support creators, innovators, and enterprises in unlocking the value of their intangible assets for business growth.In this role, you will collaborate closely with local and international stakeholders, including government agencies, IP practitioners, innovators and enterprises, to build a vibrant and forward-looking IA/IP ecosystem.What you will be working on:
Key Responsibilities:1. Support implementation of the Singapore IP Strategy 2030Contribute to whole-of-government efforts to build Singapore's innovation and IA/IP ecosystem, including participating in cross-agency work and reviews.2. Policy analyses and reviewsDrive policy formulation through economic and policy research, data analysis, and horizon scanning. Support the development of national and organisational strategies, data-driven policy making, and shape public discourse.3. Stakeholder engagement and ecosystem developmentWork with local and international partners, including innovation agencies, industry stakeholders, and international organisations, to design and implement initiatives that help enterprises leverage IA/IP for innovation, growth, and market expansion.4. Project and event coordinationProvide operational and administrative support for departmental initiatives and projects, including events and stakeholder engagements.What we are looking for:
What We're Looking For:• Interest in innovation, IP, and public policy.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and agencies.
• Experience in policy development, innovation, or enterprise support would be advantageous.
• Proficiency/experience in economics and data analytics will be an advantage.
