Singapore CLARIVATE ANALYTICS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Consulting to join our Professional Consulting team in Singapore. This role plays a critical part in providing strategic leadership at the project level and is part of the senior team guiding the consulting team on projects related to biotech, pharma, and medtech across Japan and APAC in a rapidly growing team.

You will contribute to the overall success of projects by providing thought leadership, reviewing research materials, guiding junior team members, and supervising final deliverables. As part of the global consulting team, you will work closely with Partners and leaders across geographies to support business development and project delivery.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, including at least 4 years in consulting within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, focusing on commercial & GTM strategy, R&D portfolio evaluation, pricing & market access, and market opportunity assessments.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment across JAPAC markets with experience leading projects in APAC.
  • Ability to analyze data to derive insights and recommendations for business questions.
  • Strong project management skills, including team coordination, task assignment, and progress monitoring.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in life sciences or relevant fields such as business management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Mandarin is preferred, especially for client communication in mainland China.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants and managers, supporting their professional development.
  • Oversee complex customer engagements, directing multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Ensure project execution excellence, adherence to timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive business development through proposal writing, presentations, and networking.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning and resource allocation with senior leadership.
  • Develop and oversee analytics methodologies tailored to commercial needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to growth strategies.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
  • Manage key client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Support market access evaluation and entry strategy analysis for the APAC region.

Our Commercial Consulting team specializes in research, data analysis, and developing actionable insights to secure new business through proposals and presentations.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with core hours in your local time zone, with flexibility for global coordination as needed.
