Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for Java-based applications within banking or financial operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to analyze and resolve incidents.
  • Run basic SQL queries to investigate and resolve data-related problems.
  • Maintain and update documentation for recurring issues, including solutions and workarounds in the knowledge base.
  • Assist in application deployments, patching, and configuration changes during scheduled release windows.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to senior engineers or development teams, ensuring timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Microservices-based J2EE application development or support.
  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and web services.
  • Proficient in working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
