Our client specializes in marine automation, electrical solutions, and system integration, providing innovative and reliable services for the maritime industry.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and independent HR Executive to take on a newly created role. As a sole contributor, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, working closely with management to implement HR policies and processes. You should have the ability to make decisions independently, rather than just following instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Spectrum of HR Functions – Oversee all HR-related activities, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from job postings, interviews, and selection to onboarding.
- Payroll Processing – Handle in-house payroll for approximately 50 headcounts, ensuring accuracy in OT calculations, lease calculations, and statutory contributions (using Infotech system for support).
- Employment Compliance & Contracts – Prepare employment contracts, HR policies, and memos, ensuring compliance with MOM rules and regulations.
- Training & Certification Management – Track and facilitate training renewals and compliance-related certifications for employees.
- Insurance & License Renewals – Handle the renewal of company insurance policies and licenses.
- Employee Engagement & Relations – Support management in performance appraisals, employee welfare programs, and HR policy implementation.
- Administrative Support – Perform any other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of MOM rules and regulations and HR best practices.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in English correspondence – able to draft contracts and HR memos professionally.
- Familiarity with Infotech HRMS is a plus, but candidates with no prior software experience are welcome.
- Highly independent and decisive – able to work as a sole HR contributor without needing constant supervision.
