Position summarystatement:

The incumbent willcheck in/out guests according to hotel procedures and ensure allguests' accounts are correct and settled upon check out. Attend toall guests' enquiries and complaints and to ensure guests'satisfaction.

PrimaryResponsibilities:
  • Sell, register and assign rooms to incoming guests,ensuring that registration cards are filled up correctly. Check outdeparting guests as per procedures.
  • Informrelevant departments of arrival, room changes, check out andspecial arrangements.
  • Accepts reservation inthe absence of Reservation Assistant.
  • Recordin Handover List of any special arrangements and important mattersfor follow-up.
  • Liaise with Duty Manager orFront Office Supervisor regarding any complaints.
  • Perform cashiering and maintain a complete record ofguests' account.
  • Check all guests' billsbefore presentation to guest upon check out.
  • Charge all monies due to the hotel to the respectivetravel agents or companies.
  • Declare allshortages or excess to Accounts Department.
  • Attend to all requests and requirements from guestspromptly and handle complaints tactfully.
  • Toensure all guests preferences are met to the best of our abilityand strive to (MADDAM) "Make A Difference, Do A LittleMore".
  • Create a positive first impression toguests with regards to corporate image.
  • Readentries in Communication Book and ensure all instructions and tasksassigned are follow-up.
  • Ensure procedures andpolicies on city ledger are followed.
  • To beaware of all VIP and Special Attention guests' arrivals anddepartures.
  • Ensure all Pan Pacific DiscoveryMembers, VIP and Special Attention guests are met up by DutyManager, and benefits are explained upon check in.
  • To undertake any other reasonable assignment by the DutyManager and Front Office Manager, as and whenrequired.
