Roles & Responsibilities

Expand Communications is a Singapore-based event agency under GMCOM Group Korea, delivering creative and customised BTL & ATL marketing solutions. We are looking for a Spatial Designer who can conceptualise and design event spaces in both 2D and 3D — someone who not only creates stunning visuals, but also understands how to bring them to life with real-world production knowledge and material feasibility.

What You'll Be Doing

· Design event spaces, pop-ups, and exhibition booths from concept to execution

· Develop 2D layouts, 3D renderings, and technical drawings with consideration for flow, visitor experience, and visual impact

· Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between creative direction and client objectives

· Work closely with fabricators, vendors, and production teams to ensure structural feasibility and quality execution

· Select suitable materials and finishes based on budget, safety, and build constraints

· Troubleshoot design challenges during the production phase and adapt drawings as needed

· Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and visual presentations for client pitches

. Perform ad-hoc task by management

What You Bring & Required Skills

· Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, or related field

· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in event or exhibition design

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, Rhino, Cinema4D)

· Strong understanding of build materials, fabrication methods, and on-ground production needs

· Experience working with contractors and fabricators to ensure build accuracy

· Able to visualise designs in 3D and communicate ideas clearly through drawings

· Comfortable working under tight timelines and adjusting designs quickly when needed

Added Advantage :

· Familiar with AV equipment integration, lighting planning, or modular builds

· Experience in technical documentation or build-ready drawing sets
