A school shadowing & one to one home based intervention service provider for children with Autism, specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). AutismSTEP has won the best in early intervention programme for children with autism for 2 times and is the biggest private autism service provider in terms of number of children under our care. We transform the way children with Autism interacts with others.

We are looking for individuals aspire to be a therapist for children with special needs and are willing to take on challenges and have the passion to help the children with special needs. We believe that therapists are our most valuable assets and we spend great effort in nurturing our staff.

They keep the negative to themselves and not want to affect the morale of the whole team.

Requirements:

  • You have experience working with children with Autism
  • You are able to work independently with high sense of responsibility and ethics
  • You are patient and does not give up easily
  • You do not mind traveling to different locations for therapy
  • You are a Singaporeans or PR

Worst part of the job

Getting your hands dirty all the time. You are to play and interact with children and they sure have more energy than you do.

Job Scope

You will be taking care of 5 to 8 children and responsible for helping them with their behaviours, obsessions, language and social difficulties. There are over hundreds of ways to manage any behaviours and there are more than a thousand kind of problematic behaviours. We can assure you will constantly be faced with new challenges. You will get hands on experience, learn how to manage these behaviours and learn how to best handle them.
