Currently, we're hiring Legal Consultant to join us with:

• 7+ years of relevant experience as in-house or commercial lawyer
• Strong knowledge of global and regional data privacy and protection laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA, CCPA, or other APAC regulations).
• Experience advising on data governance, data transfers, and cross-border compliance issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

• Advising on compliance with data privacy and protection laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating data processing agreements, data-sharing agreements, vendor contracts, and cross-border transfer arrangements.
• Supporting privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), and other internal privacy compliance processes.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining data privacy policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Providing guidance on privacy risks related to new products, services, and technologies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on day-to-day data privacy issues and regulatory inquiries.
