Roles & Responsibilities
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Monday to Friday (8am - 5.15pm)
  • Salary Range: $3,500 - $5,000
  • Location: Changi North
  • 1 year contract renewable and convertible

Roles & Responsibilities

· Evaluate, specify, recommend, develop and commission customized automated equipment and machinery to attain cost/waste reduction, quality, productivity and production modernization goals.

· Justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX), conduct cost/benefit analyses and put up capital appropriation requests (CAR).

· Develop Statement of Work (SOW) for proposals, machine specifications and FAT/SAT.

· Analyze operational problems and develop / implement engineering solutions for existing or new processes.

· Perform robotic and line control interface programming in accordance with industry and company guidelines.

· Conduct risk assessments, robotic system safety specifications, in accordance with Company's EHS and industry requirements.

· Utilize Company's quality tool (CORE) to foster robust project plans, status, schedules and communications to key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Work Experience

· Degree in engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Robotics)

· At least 3 years' working experience in delivering Robotic and automated solutions.

Preferred Skills (if any):

· Able to interpret drawing and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing)

· Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.

· Competent in industrial robot handling and offline robot programming software (RoboGuide, RobotStudio, Robotmaster, etc.)

· In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and disciplines.

· Proven experience in automation deployment in operations.

· Experience in open-source programming languages, C++, and Python is a plus.

· Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming for robot interface would be an advantage.

· Lean Six Sigma or other problem-solving tool.
