Your new role
As Senior Director of Corporate Affairs for Region APAC, you will serve as a strong commercial partner for Senior Vice President (SVP) and senior leadership on growth initiatives. Your responsibilities include driving strategic projects, analyzing market trends, leading sustainability efforts, developing communication plans, building relationships with stakeholders, and supporting business development and preparing for APAC representation in forums. The role will report directly to the SVP – Region APAC.
This role is higly centered on commercial strategic partnering and driving strategic projects for APAC executive office. About 60% of this role will be focused on commercial sparring; and 10% of this role will be focused on drawing business insights based on the market analysis and understanding.
- Act as a strong commercial sparring partner for SVP and collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business & organisational growth.
- Prepare and support senior leadership for representing and enhancing APAC in different relevant forums internally and externally.
- Drive key strategic projects independently, including establishing, anchoring, and tracking APAC Ambition and Performance drivers.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, industry & market drivers to generate actionable insights that support business strategy and optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans (predominantly externally) that effectively position the company across different media, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Lead sustainability initiatives by setting measurable goals, promoting best practices, and reporting progress to stakeholders with a focus on environmental and social responsibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders while supporting business development ideas, initiatives, and projects to capture the right business opportunities.

Novo Nordisk Region APAC is proud to announce the establishment of a new Corporate Affairs function. This innovative unit integrates the Executive Office, Strategy, Data and Insights, and externally facing corporate functions, including Communications, Media, and Sustainability. By bringing these key areas together, we aim to enhance strategic alignment and ensure a cohesive approach to our corporate initiatives.

Your skills and qualifications
We're looking for a new Senior Director, Corporate affairs who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You'll bring with you:
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in business unit management, commercial roles, corporate affairs, with a proven track record of leadership in managing internal and external stakeholder engagement.Candidates with experiences in commercial strategic role, business unit management, strong collaboration with executive office will be highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in influencing and working with internal and external stakeholders, shaping policy, and fostering community relations to bring business growth and enhance organisational reputation.
- Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Excellent communications skills to all levels.
