Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily gym operations, ensuring smooth running of programs, classes, and activities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of coaches and staff members, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
  • Coaching: Actively coach and mentor students in ninja warrior, parkour, gymnastics, obstacle course racing, and fitness training, ensuring they receive proper guidance to improve their skills and confidence.
  • Lesson Plan Development: Work closely with coaches to create and develop weekly lesson plans that align with curriculum goals, ensuring that each class is engaging, structured, and effective in developing students' abilities.
  • Customer Service: Provide an exceptional customer experience, building strong relationships with parents and students, and handling any inquiries or concerns.
  • Administrative Collaboration: Work with the administrative staff to manage the booking system, ensuring that classes, schedules, and student registrations are accurately entered and updated.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the administrative staff to handle billing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records of payments. Oversee and assist with financial reporting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Work with the administrative staff to manage gym equipment, supplies, and merchandise inventory. Ensure stock is adequately maintained, ordered in a timely manner, and properly organized. Monitor usage and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • System Management: Have in-depth knowledge of all systems used by the gym (including booking, financial, inventory, and manpower scheduling systems). Ensure proper usage and troubleshooting of these systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
  • Manpower Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the scheduling of coaches and staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs and classes. Optimize staff scheduling to align with peak operational hours and demand.
  • Resource Optimization: Develop and implement efficient resource management strategies to maximize facility utilization. Monitor and control operational costs to improve profitability.
  • Program Development: Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of new programs that engage kids and help them improve their fitness, agility, and ninja warrior skills.
  • Facility Management: Ensure that gym facilities, equipment, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement: Assist in promoting the academy through local events, social media, and outreach programs to attract new students and retain existing ones.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants, especially children.
  • Business Development & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive membership growth and customer retention. Identify new revenue streams and partnership opportunities to expand business.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gym or fitness center management, preferably in a similar role within a children's fitness or sports academy.
  • Knowledge of parkour, gymnastics, obstacle course racing, or fitness training is a must. Experience in these areas will enable you to effectively guide and coach children through the physical challenges of our programs.
  • Experience in coaching children, with a focus on fitness, agility, and strength-based training is a must.
  • Strong experience in collaborating with coaches to develop structured, engaging weekly lesson plans.
  • Attention to detail and experience with administrative tasks, including managing booking systems, financial systems, inventory management, and manpower scheduling to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
  • Knowledge of all gym systems (booking, financial, inventory, scheduling, etc.) and ability to troubleshoot and optimize their usage for smooth operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for motivating and managing a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with parents, students, and staff.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
