Roles & Responsibilities

A Blue Prism Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining RPA solutions using the Blue Prism platform. The role involves working on end-to-end automation of business processes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency in deployed bots.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing automation workflows using Blue Prism's visual tools
  • Creating reusable components and integrating with external systems (APIs, databases, etc.)
  • Testing, debugging, and resolving issues in bots
  • Deploying bots to production and handling exceptions
  • Preparing technical documentation and supporting handovers
  • Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Blue Prism, including Object Studio, Process Studio, Control Room, and Queue Management
  • Understanding of the RPA development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with databases, API integrations, and basic scripting (VBScript, JavaScript)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Blue Prism Developer Certification
