AI Software Engineer – Cybersecurity Applications

We are seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications that enhance cybersecurity operations. This role focuses on building agent-based systems with Large Language Models (LLMs), developing human-in-the-loop workflows, and integrating AI into security solutions to improve automation, detection, and response.

Key Responsibilities

AI Application Development

  • Design and build production-grade AI applications using LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain
  • Develop and maintain agent-based systems for security automation
  • Implement human-in-the-loop workflows for critical operations
  • Create and refine prompt engineering strategies for LLMs

Technical Implementation

  • Build and optimize vector database solutions (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS)
  • Design prompt templates, chains, and evaluation frameworks
  • Implement systematic prompt testing, versioning, and management
  • Fine-tune prompts for security-specific use cases

System Architecture & Infrastructure

  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI applications
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and integration
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and error-handling systems

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Partner with security teams (SOC, Detection, Threat Hunting) to apply AI in real-world scenarios
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support deployment and scaling
  • Share best practices in prompt engineering and AI system design
  • Document technical architectures, workflows, and prompt strategies
  • Contribute to research and innovation in AI for cybersecurity
Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 2–5 years of software engineering experience
  • Strong Python development skills
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks
  • Proven track record building production-grade applications with LLMs

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

  • Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices
  • Experience with LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain
  • Knowledge of agent-based systems and workflow orchestration
  • Expertise in API development and integration
  • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Singaporean(s) Only
