Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with hands-on expertise in VMware vSphere,

vDefend (VMware NSX Advanced Threat Prevention), and AVI Load Balancer (VMware

NSX Advanced Load Balancer). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering

advanced virtualization and network virtualization solutions for enterprise customers, driving

end-to-end implementation, optimization, and support.

PS Note : Role requires candidate to have an active security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere environments for
  • enterprise and government customers
  • Implement and manage vDefend / NSX Advanced Threat Protection policies for
  • microsegmentation, intrusion detection, and threat prevention
  • Configure and manage AVI Load Balancer instances for high availability, SSL
  • offloading, and application performance optimization
  • Conduct system assessments, health checks, upgrades, and migrations as part of infrastructure improvement plans
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable architecture and implementation plans
  • Prepare documentation including HLDs, LLDs, test plans, and operation handover materials
  • Support pre-sales activities and provide technical input to proposals and RFPs when required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with VMware technologies in enterprise environments
  • Strong working knowledge of vSphere 6.x/7.x, ESXi, vCenter
  • Experience in vDefend / NSX-T for network security and threat prevention
  • Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing AVI Load Balancer / NSX Advanced Load Balancer
  • Strong understanding of virtualization networking, distributed switches, and vSAN (optional)
  • Proven experience in enterprise customer-facing consulting roles
  • Ability to create comprehensive architecture and operational documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV)
  • VMware NSX-T or AVI Load Balancer certifications
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent process framework
