Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define overall architecture for OutSystems applications (web, mobile, and integrations).
  • Ensure best practices in architecture, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Oversee the selection and integration of APIs, connectors, and enterprise systems.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and technical quality checks throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide guidance on environment strategy (Dev, UAT, Prod) and deployment pipelines.
  • Act as the OutSystems technical authority within the project/program.
  • Mentor and guide development teams on platform best practices and patterns.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of OutSystems architecture, ODC or O11, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of security design (OAuth2, SAML, JWT, etc.) in OutSystems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices and OutSystems deployment strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
