Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek and assess vessels for sale & purchase within the bulk sector.
  • Identify and engage potential buyers or sellers, cultivating strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for vessel transactions, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Stay informed on market trends, vessel values, and regulatory changes to provide well-informed advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Shipbroker experience, focusing on bulk carriers (Handymax/supramax experience preferred).
  • Extensive network of contacts in the maritime industry, including shipowners, operators, and charterers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of vessel types, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in maritime studies or related fields are a plus.
  • Willing to travel overseas.
