Roles & Responsibilities

At Ichor, Procurement and Material delivery is at the heart of what we do. Our Global Supply Chain team is investing in people, processes and technology and seeking to hire a highly motivated Material Project Manager. The role will actively participate in understanding customers’ requirements and passionately drive internal procurement processes and customers’ global supply chain to exceed internal and external customer expectations. The role will drive strategic initiatives to improve the overall efficiency and profitability of Ichor Systems.

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • For assigned products and programs execute supply chain programs that support delivery, reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow
  • Attend production meetings and represent shortages to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses and resolves root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attribute and external supply-related constraints.
  • Maintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set-up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels.
  • Understands and can demonstrate, diagram, and measure all value-add activities in a product value chain.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • With at least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in more than one operational discipline.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to focus on salient points.
  • Highly competent in Excel skills.
  • Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred.
