Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, task assignments, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and monitor project progress, addressing issues, risks, and changes as they arise.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
  • Support budget management by tracking expenses and ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and manage project management tools and systems.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation).
  • Experience in managing software development, IT infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
