Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop IAM solutions for migrating or new applications, primarily on Google Cloud.
  • Manage IAM services for complex applications migrating to Google Cloud, focusing on authentication and authorisation (RBAC).
  • Choose the appropriate IAM Cloud controls based on application requirements.
  • Collaborate in a globally distributed team to create robust cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with vendors to deploy cloud services meeting customer needs.
  • Implement, configure, document, and deploy compliant infrastructure and services in Google Cloud.
  • Optimise and document operational aspects in Google Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and fix bugs where possible.
  • Partner with Risk Management to ensure the deployment and testing of necessary cloud service controls.
Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory as an IDP for Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in IAM, with a background in Active Directory or similar LDAP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM services in Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in authentication methods such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Kerberos.
  • Experience with Federated Identity solutions like PING Federate or ADFS.
  • Prior experience with RBAC in Google Cloud.
  • Experience creating technical architecture documentation.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Scripting and automation skills, including PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp products like Terraform, Vault, and Consul.
  • Experience with risk control frameworks and regulatory engagements.
  • Experience in the financial industry.
